Ethnic Studies is a content and pedagogy that and all people by celebrating histories and centering cultures of marginalized groups, specifically Indigenous, Black, Asian/Pacific/Desi/Arab, and Chicanx/Latinx communities.

Beginning with the Class of 2025 students need to complete one ethnic studies course to earn an SDUSD diploma. Below are approved ethnic studies courses. Additional courses will be added as they are approved.
